Joseph Allan Bullock 88 of Mount Pleasant passed away Saturday, April 4, 2015 at the Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. Joseph was born January 9, 1927 in Indiana, PA son of the late Joseph Albert and Cora Fay Bruneau Bullock. He was a graduate of Greensburg High School Class of 1945, a graduate of Allegheny and Massey Technical Institute and attended the University of Pittsburgh. He was a WWII veteran serving as a Sargeant in the 7th Army Unit. He retired in the year 2000 from the Elliott Company with 50 years of service. He was a system repairman and an inspection foreman. Joseph was a member of the Greensburg High School track team and played softball for the Christian Missionary Alliance Church and coached girls' softball for the Mt. Pleasant Summer leagues. He enjoyed playing the piano and other musical instruments. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Scott T. Lipko; two brothers, Albert Ray Bullock and William Grayson Bullock and a sister Mary Jane Vanderella. He is survived by his wife Betty Omler Bullock of 62 years; two daughters,Cheryl Ann Lipko of Mount Pleasant and Darlene Bullock of Grove City and a son James Allan Bullock of Greensburg; close family friends, Charles Hunter and Lou Ann Miller; a grandson, Jeffrey James Bullock of West Newton and a great grandson Landon; also a brother Robert Bullock and wife Lois of Youngwood, a sister-in-law Veronica Bullock of Greensburg and by nieces and nephews. Friends are invited from 3 to 5 and 6 to 8 PM Wednesday to SALOOM-REGA FUNERAL SERVICE 730 W. Main Street Mount Pleasant where services will be held at 11AM Thursday with Pastor Lee Maley officiating. Interment with military honors conducted by American Legion Post 446 Mt.
