Robert J. Biller 90, of Mount Pleasant, passed away Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at the Excela Health Frick Hospital, Mount Pleasant. Bob was born February 3, 1923 in Everson the son of the late Frank and Rose Collins Biller. He was a member of St. Pius X Church, Mount Pleasant, a WWII Army veteran who served his country in four battles, The Invasion of Normandy, Northern France, Ardennes and Rhineland earning a Campaign Medal with four Bronze Stars, Good Conduct Medal, European African Middle Eastern Service Medal and World War II Victory Medal. Bob was long time member of American Legion Post 446 and VFW Post 3368, Mount Pleasant and a former member of the Mount Pleasant Firemen's Club. Bob was employed by the Lenox Crystal Corp, Mount Pleasant as a presser in the skilled glass department retiring after 47 years service. Surviving are his son, Robert E. Biller of Mount Pleasant; granddaughters, Erin Lynn and Jennifer Lee and a great-great granddaughter, Adryanna Crawford and a brother, Francis (Skinny) Biller of Mount Pleasant; also nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Hilda Kreinbrook Biller and brothers, Regis and Raymond Biller. The family is inviting friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8PM Friday to SALOOM-REGA FUNERAL SERVICE 730 W. Main Street Mount Pleasant (724-547-2122) where a blessing service will be held at 8:30AM Saturday followed by a mass of christian burial at 9AM in St. Pius X Church, Mount Pleasant with Rev. Richard J. Kosisko as celebrant. Interment with military honors conducted by American Legion Post 446, Mount Pleasant will follow in the St. Pius X Cemetery.
